Bridgnorth Tae Kwon-Do’s national GTI squad members, Dean Lewis and Luke Richardson, have been busy at their second World Championship in a fortnight!  The pair attended the UITF World Championships in London on the weekend of the 10th July. Bridgnorth Tae Kwon-Do’s Dean Lewis (veterans black belt) and Luke Richardson (junior black belt) have travelled to Rimini, Italy for the World Championship.  They will be returning to Italy with 8 medals between them!  – Dean, bronze for patterns – Dean, bronze for sparring  – Dean, bronze for team patterns 

Five of Bridgnorth Tae Kwon-Do’s students have just attended a long, sweaty and invaluable seminar led by Jaroslaw Suska.  The seminar started with a competitive and quick paced warm up, some stretching, followed by kicks. Suska showed us how it is done! The second part of the session focused on

June’s colour belt grading saw 13 of Bridgnorth Tae Kwon-Do’s students being put through their paces by Mr Bhadeshia, 6th Dan.  Everyone passed with flying colours, especially Daniel Palmer, who at red stripe passed with an overall A grade for excellent effort and performance.  The high standard of Tae Kwon-Do

Hee is the first of our publicity in the local press, celebrating the fact that two of our students have been selected to represent Bridgnorth, Shropshire, England and GTI at the Tae Kwon-Do World Championships in Italy this June! How amazing is that?!

Our two National Squad members competed again this weekend, this time at the LTSI South East Open, and came home with a bronze each for sparring. There were over 400 competitors and around 30 clubs, so this was another huge achievement! What’s really fantastic is that GTI won the Best
