Today is the day that seven of our students take part in a colour belt grading. Examiner Master Cockburn, 7th Degree Black Belt, will put them through their paces to test their patterns, line work, jumping kicks, sparring, self defence, and more. In the final grading session myself, Mr Plant
Praise indeed
After Monday night’s lesson, we were delighted to come home to two compliments from happy students! It had been a sweaty session with lots of sparring and a fast pace as always. To come home to words of praise is really rewarding!
Pattern meanings – good bedtime stories?!
Poor Ava has had ‘the meaning of Kwang-Gae’ as her bedtime story for the last couple of nights! I’ve got it committed to memory now though and just need to do some research into the deeper meaning behind the definition.
